All learners that are at our bulldozer training school receive accredited certificates provided that the entry requirements have been met, and the learner is found competent to operate a front end loader truck, the candidate will receive a certificate of competence that is valid life-long, except where it is the policy of the company to have the operator refreshed every two years.

We take learners through general safety precautions regarding the operation of the bulldozer, maintenance, protection of the machine, handling of its various dangerous components, and working in hazardous environments, such as on looser ground or on inclines.

What are the duties of Bulldozer operator?
Bulldozer operators play a pivotal role in construction and mining projects across South Africa. Their primary duty involves maneuvering one of the most powerful and versatile pieces of heavy machinery to move dirt, rocks, and other materials on a site. This requires a keen understanding of the machine’s capabilities and the terrain it operates in.
Bulldozer operators are responsible for reading and interpreting site plans and grade specifications, ensuring that the groundwork is laid out according to the project’s requirements. They must also execute tasks such as backfilling, rough grading, fine grading, and sloping, all while adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents on the job site.
In addition to the hands-on work, bulldozer operators are tasked with the daily maintenance and basic troubleshooting of their equipment. This includes inspecting the dozer before and after operation for any signs of wear or damage, performing minor repairs, and reporting more significant issues to ensure the machinery is safe and functional.
Bulldozer checks

Bulldozer drivers typically earn around R12000 per month. Driving salaries range from R8000 (lowest) to R18000 (highest).
For new operators, bulldozer license and certificate costs are included in the bulldozer operator training price. Renewing a bulldozer license costs between R800 and R1500. It depends on the expiry date and previous experience of the bulldozer operator.
